Mickey Moore
Founder of Train Moore | Coach, Veteran, and Movement Specialist
Growing up in Los Angeles County, Mickey Moore lived and breathed sports. From basketball and volleyball to track, softball, and even tackle football with the boys, competition and movement were always at the heart of life. By high school, Mickey focused on basketball, track and field, and volleyball — a love of athleticism that continued into Pasadena City College, where she played basketball before taking her training to a different kind of arena: the boxing ring.
Working alongside her grandfather — a Navy boxer turned professional — Mickey discovered the discipline and drive that would later define her life’s work. Inspired by his legacy, she enlisted in the United States Navy, where she earned a spot on the All Navy Boxing Team but was unable to compete due to duty restrictions. Near the end of her service, Mickey faced one of her toughest fights yet: being diagnosed with PTSD and Major Depression and Obesity.
Determined to rebuild her health, Mickey began studying the science of the body and mind. What started as self-healing became a calling — a mission to help others discover the strength within themselves through education, movement, and holistic performance.
Through Train Moore, Mickey’s purpose is to teach her community how to move, heal, and perform with intention. She believes there’s more than one path to reach your goals — and every journey begins with movement.
“This is how we Train Moore.”
